He'd been working since Wednesday, but finally, it was finished. Kabuto sealed the final scroll with a tricky, but infinitely useful jutsu, and set it next to the other two.

Kabuto was supposed to open the Devil's Nest, but he doubted anyone would notice if he didn't. At least, he would have thought so, if he was thinking about that. He was too busy to care, though, typing away furiously at his computer.

Even if he wasn't at "work", he was working. Doing his real job.

It had been a good night so far. Kabuto escorted Ino back to the dorms from the dance, stopping outside his own door.

"Well, Ino...may I ask for one last dance?" He asked, pushing the door open for them.

Having been awake since early Friday morning, Kabuto didn't quite look like his usual put-together self. There were smudges under his eyes, but they weren't as dark as some of the times when he hadn't slept - but then, that had also been for stretches of days at a time. Kabuto had seemed to be even more antisocial and avoidant this past week. Today, however, he'd left the door open when he'd come back to his room. It was a blatant invitation to the blonde ninja he'd been avoiding stalking ignoring all week.
