Ino was back.That was enough to calm the restlessness Kabuto had been feeling for the past several weeks, soothing the caged-animal feelings he'd been fighting. It was a bit later than she'd meant to be, but Ino hoped that he wouldn't mind. After talking to Michael which, la, is still on-going, she'd had another shower and her hair was still damp and curling around her face and down her back when she padded across the hall in one of his shirts. She looked almost fragile, deceptively so even, and the world still didn't feel quite right around her.

She was really still there though, and knocking very lightly on his door before turning the handle and pushing it open. "Kabuto?"

Kabuto was sitting on the floor with his back against his bed, watching Kusanagi. The snake was watching Kabuto. It was quite possibly a staring contest, which Kusanagi won by default as Kabuto looked away, smiling up at Ino. "...Hi, Ino."
