Dog Mansions are finished!

From an idea I had last winter, through a lot of work and expense, to the celebration last night, the Dog Mansions have been a real adventure. It's funny to think that, at the beginning, we thought four of the five houses would be exactly alike, and now each one is different even though their size (except for the Redheads' house) is similar ( Read more... )

Their sweet little faces wouldn't hold still or you'd see even more of them. :) And of course, the whole thing of wanting to take pics of them IN their houses doesn't stand a chance of happening....as soon as they see me, they're all out and at the fences. :) But it really is good to be done, I'm very proud of what we've done. *hugs*

Wow. I can't begin to imagine how much work went into all that. It all looks amazing, though! You did a really terrific job and your pooches are going to be even happier than they already were! Really well done!

Thank you, Will. :) It was definitely a lot of work, and was more expensive than I thought when I first had the idea, but it's worked really well for me and for the dogs. And it was a fun project to do together, we actually enjoyed most of it. I'm hoping my shy girls will get used to their new houses soon. It's raining here today, so they need to snuggle. :)
