There is a weird thought I start to think about whenever I hear about electronics failing, like your ipod.
What if I time traveled to an earlier time, bringing several electronic items with me for transitionary comfort. Things like mp3 players and DVD players wouldn't last very long and I would be stuck with the entertainment choices of the time I was in. It really makes me wonder about how fragile and disposable today's technology is.
And you did scare me about the good news and bad news. I was fearful the bad news was worse than mentioned, not to belittle the iPod. I knew you were getting a new home and didn't want any problems.
I am also a fan of "Burn Notice." I actually saw it during some down time at work on hulu.com. Been keeping up with it since.
lol! I was considering not replacing it (if it's truly dead) but I can't stand listening to the radio and I really, really want my music during my commute. Really. Really.
Over 5 years ago I got one of them mp3 capable CD players for my car. I adore the thing. I absolutely abhor the radio, as well. I never took to hearing the same 10 songs over and over again with a sprinkle of inane commercials thrown into the mix. So an mp3 player in the car is a MUST!

I broke down and bought a new iPod today. I couldn't handle it anymore.
