Passing through, Shinji finished wolfing down a sandwich and was about ready to head back to the office with his coffee when he saw Orihime sitting in the café. He smiled, walking over to her table. There was no harm in simple chit chat, right?
"Orihime-Chan~" He chimed, reaching her table with bright enthusiasm.
Orihime quickly looked up, dabbing a bit of the curry sauce from the corner of her mouth. "Shinji-kun!" she said, smiling at him. It'd been a few days since she'd seen Shinji, so it was a welcome visit. "Please sit down," she offered, motioning to the chair across from her.
"Hey, thanks!" Shinji wasnt going to say no to that, and pulled the chair across from her over, sitting himself down. "Aren't y' looking nice today." He took a sip of his coffee, giving her a warm smile. "How're y' doin'?"
"I'm doing okay!" Orihime sipped her tea to help wash down the curry. "How about you?" she asked. "Working hard, I bet! Like the paper fairy!" The last bit was whispered loudly, almost conspiratorially. Surely Shinji would know about the paper fairy, or at least have noticed her handiwork.
...Christ, she was cute. "Oh... y' mean the pink paper?" He laughed a little. "Well, can't really say I'm working as hard as 'im. Its a tough job, switchin' out the paper before anyone sees 'im." Shinji rose and eyebrow, bringing the coffee cup up to his mouth. "I'm almost working as hard though." He took another sip.
