Kensei walked slowly down the path around the building, enjoying the warm sun and cool breeze. He had taken a short break for some fresh air, the research he had been doing seemed to be grating on his nerves particularly well today. Hands settled in his pockets, he had been looking up at the foliage when a falling leaf brought his attention to the man laying under the tree. He blinked. Wasn't that one of the board members?

Clearing his throat, the silver haired man walked up almost cautiously until he was standing next to the napping man's feet. "Uh.. Sir? You okay?" For all he knew, the guy could have had a heart attack.

Shunsui cracked an eye open when a man's voice he didn't recognize, possibly a customer, broke his relaxation.

"Me?" Shunsui's face broke into a grin.

"I'm just dandy." Dandy until Nanao would find him.

He recognized the man, he was Muguruma Kensei. A man he never talked to before but knew his face and his name, although not well.

"You can join me. It is marvelous in this spot."

Marvelous? The man was off his rocker. Kaname shook his head from where he stood in a doorway. His right shoulder leaned on the door itself, holding it open as he got a bit of fresh air. Both of the voices he heard beginning conversation were recognizable and, though Shunsui was grinning, he could tell the one had been resting. Hmph.

"Kyouraku," said the black man from where he stood. It just so happened his door was behind the elder of the two standing outside. Had Kensei not spoken he would not have known Shunsui was there, either. Well, he had heard the sigh but could not place the man it belonged to. Many sighs sounded the same.

"Slacking as usual?"

What was once a solitudous spot was quickly becoming a party. Shunsui cared not, he rather enjoyed the company of others.

"Some may call it slacking, I call it smelling the roses. My, how the roses are sweet, Kaname-kun."

It was a little joke. He knew that Kaname had a lot of work because of Shunsui's ostentatious attraction to 'roses' and he figured Kaname had a whole filing cabinet dedicated to Shunsui.

Oh indeed he did, or might soon begin to start one if this kept up. "Muguruma," said Kaname as he stood still in place. "Promise me you won't go hanging around with the likes of him." He, for all that it mattered, rather liked Kensei. The man did not cause him trouble, and yet did the man's relationship with his assistant bring about issues either. Kensei was practically on the white list for good behavior.
