Summary: Shunsui goes over to talk to Jyuushirou, have a deep discussion. It is Shunsui so it's not that deep.

Jyuushirou had been signing some important documents when Shunsui just barged in, as usual. He looked up and smiled at his friend, putting down the pen slowly and watching as Shunsui took a seat in the chair in front of the desk. This was a very common routine, and he was not surprised to see him. Something must be up again, his friend had that look on his face.

"Am I ever too busy for you?" He asked with a slight chuckle, brushing away some of his silver hair behind and ear and leaning back in his own chair, getting ready for another 'session' with Shunsui. It was true, in a way. He would always make time for his best friend, no matter what. "What's on your mind, Shun?"

Shunsui tucked his hands behind his head and gave a sigh as he leaned further back into the chair.

"I just ran into Lisa. Did you know she turned down a job working for me?" Shunsui bit his lip. It was something he hardly done but clearly he was troubled.

"I wonder if she still thinks about me..." He sounded distant. This was not good.

Jyuushirou sighed softly - not from frustration, but more from the fact that he had somewhat expected this.

"Yes, I did know." The white-haired man started, thoughtfully. "She wanted to earn her position at the company by working her way up." There was a small pause before he continued. His voice was calm and a bit affectionate, since he did care about Shunsui a lot. "Besides, you did already have Ise-san."

He listened to his friend's distant thoughts and he shook his head a bit. "It's been a long time, Shunsui."

"She's a stubborn woman." Shunsui nodded, that sounded very much like the Lisa he knew.

"So is Nanao-chan." Shunsui came to that slightly startling realization. He looked over at his old friend with a fond smile upon his face. He was glad to have him as one constant over the years. It was the only comforting thing in his life.

"What do you think of her return?"

"She knows what she wants." Jyuushirou replied with a slight chuckle. "That's good for her."

He returned his friend's smile and then looked slightly thoughtful as he considered his words very carefully. There had been a lot of arguments following the Vaizard Inc. merging, especially when it came to placing it's employees. He'd done his best to make sure that those who were forced to leave were compensated, and those who were hired at SSI got the jobs they wanted just as much as the jobs that were needed.

"It's always nice to see old friends again, Shunsui."
