haha I actually had the "who the heck is this guy" moment as well when I was first learning about him!

Aparently he's one of those guys that gains a reputation before his name becomes a household name...you know the sort of guy that you discribe with "he told that *insert well known and widely circulated joke" and then gain a "oh, him, what was his name...?"
