I dunno if the UK definition of a "tunic" top differs from the US definition ('cause here "tunic tops" = "peasant tops", which look like this), but I wear a lot of these, which are referred to as "wrap" tops. :O I have an extremely hourglass figure (as in, my hips are waaay wider than my actual waist), and wrap tops help to make them not look so huge on me. X3 A lot of them you can also find with banding underneath the bust, and/or a ribbon to help tie the wrap around you at the waist and hold it in place. I'm a layering addict, and I can comfortably and successfully wear my wrap tops with about two other little tanks or shirts underneath. :3

that helps a great deal! Tops are totaly my personal nightmare given the teenyness of my torso compaired to my legs and I've gotten to the point where I'd totaly wear a hemp sack if I could make the darn thing look good!!
