Still struggling to breathe normally, Umi turned to the sound of another voice in the damp cell. For the longest time she'd had but someone else's unconscious breath for company. Now it seemed that whoever had been imprisoned along with her had finally recovered from whatever their jailers had done.

A young man? Umi shifted where she crouched on the floor, with her device tightly clutched in her hands. "So... you're awake..."

They are so going to kick ass.

Shin noticed the way she almost, but not quite, focused on him.

"I'm sorry to pass out on you like that," he murmured, pressing the palm of his hand to where it hurt behind his eye.

"I'm Shin Mouri."

Umi sighed. At least her companion seemed nice enough. He had a pleasant voice despite he sounded obviously weary. "Umi Ryuuzaki. You were out for quite a while... Are you feeling better now...?"
