[There's no telling how on earth did the communicator end up on the floor, but here you have it, recording a very blurry image of Umi trying to get the wild flood that's the fountain back to normal with her magic.]

[That second one was dodged easily: now Umi was on her guard and ready to make the most of her element's speed. She started summoning her magic when Megumi's arrival distracted her.]

...Miss Megumi! Welcome to the battle of the century~

action; sooooob Hikaru's cleanup, but it'll be worth it *A*

[Hikaru was about to get that gun ready but she heard Megumi and turned quickly to smile with a wave.]

Megumi-san! It's been a long time!

action; Mommy will help, girls :D

[ Waving back, she entered with a wave, drenched and not caring a bit about her state. ]

Which is a crying shame, Hikaru! Seeing as Umi and I have been talking recently too.

[ And she grins at Umi then, her hand moving to a side as she summons up another orb of water in her palm ]

So who's side should I join, hm~?

action; You leave the largest part to Umi, she has it coming >:

I had no idea you two knew each other! This is great.

[The welcoming host part is over soon, and the grin on Umi's face grows larger. She's seen Megumi's magic in action before. This will be far more interesting than she expected.]

...Well, it wouldn't be fair, would it? Two water mages against a fire one? [Giggling, she continues to summon her own watery aura.]

Maybe every woman for herself would be best.

W-we met back in February, before you got here.

[Hikaru didn't really like thinking about how they met orz forever, but it was obvious Umi and Megumi were ready to get down to water business. She looked between them, wondering how she would fend them both off if they joined forces, but it sounded like Umi didn't want to. Good.]

I think Umi's right.

Heh, that's right. But it's a story for another time, Umi!

[ A smirk appears on her lips as she looks between them, the orbs forming into solid spherical shapes over her palms. ]

Can't deny that. Umi and I have an advantage over the water, don't we?

[ tossing the water orbs in the air and letting them hover over her fingertips, a wicked grin appears on her lips. ]

Though it seems the both of you won't stand a chance if you don't stay sharp!

[ And without warning, both water orbs are flung into Umi and Hikaru's directions, which will disintegrate into water balloon-like explosion should they make contact with them! Heads up! ]

action; alright, alright, you two leave the culprit unpunished. -_-

[Is there an anecdote there? Umi wonders at her two friends' words for a moment. Then decides to ask later and instead concentrate on the task at hand.]

...Alright! A surprise assault! I like this!

[Of course letting a big part of the water soak her up is part of the fun, so Umi allows this. The rest of it, though... Raising a hand, she wills the water to a stop only to send it upon her opponents, reinforced by the stream she just summoned herself.]

There you have it! Counterattack!

Ah! [The cold water was a bit of a shock to Hikaru's fiery aura, but she was prepared to fight back. >( She'd show these two water users you don't have to control it to use it well!

So she readied that gun as best she could, levelling it at Megumi and let the spraw loose.]

action; you can't argue with team cute :|

[ Unfortunately for Megumi, she'd left herself open after that throw, and she let herself get hit by Umi's assault. ]

Oh, it's on!

[ And turning on Hikaru, she flung out her hand to halt the spray, letting it swirl around her fingers in a display that made it clear that she was showing off, and pointed it back at Hikaru. ]

Better run, little girl.

[ Because that water drill? Is coming right for you! A harmless prank, but an attack all the same! ]

action; sob it's truly impossible .__.a;;;

[Good one! This is hard to outrun! Umi makes a dash for a nearby couch to take cover. Manipulating all the water to a stop isn't fun, though she may use it to her advantage if necessary.]

You two have seen nothing yet!

[And this is her sign for releasing a little rainstorm from behind her hideout: heavy droplets falling down, all over the other two.]

action; so give up now, or prepare to fight. :>

[The water drill was pretty cool actually. But afjklasjdf she had to roll to the side to dodge it. But the rain? That was just awesome. Like, she didn't bother trying to find cover to just watch it. She didn't know Umi could do something like that.]

action; ....dorks, the lot of you.

[ That was absolutely fascinating! But Megumi's one to enjoy every bit of this, and she laughs, twirling around and moving her face up to let the droplets splash around her. ]

That feels so good!

...That's a little trick I learned when first I tried to use my Water Dragon indoors.

[Umi won't dampen the spirits by quoting the moment that happened was when she escaped Mayuri's lab. Not at all. But at least something good came of it. She laughs the matter off and comes out from her hideout.]

It doesn't last too long but it gives me time to recharge.

[...which she begins doing on the spot, blue aura shining.]

Mm! It's really amazing!

[Not that she'd let that distract her from THE MOST PERFECT MOMENT EVER to get Umi with her water gun. Take aim... waaaaiiiiit... And fire away she did since Umi was in just the right spot.]

action; I CAN'T DENY IT. I AM POSSESSED WITH LOVE FOR YOU. ;_;

[ It's too bad she has no idea about the circumstances surrounding Umi's technique, and Megumi is enjoying the spray of water until it dies out, in time to catch Hikaru's sneak attack. She grins, moving her hands to her sides, which begin to glow in a soft, white light as she begins to summon up the fallen water droplets into her palms, channelling them into orbs once more as she replies ]

Then it's a good thing that water is what helps me recharge. I don't have to wait to do this!

[ And as Hikaru shoots, so does Megumi, pointing at her to shoot the orb toward the side of her face. ]
