The Night that Almost Happened - Art Materpost
So here it is! The prove that I love to make myself suffer by deciding to do both art and fic for the spn-meanttobe challenge. But even with all I had to run to finish both art and fic, I must say I really enjoyed it.
I have done collabs with authors before, but this is my first time doing art for my own fic, which I gotta say was a nice experience. I was a little less stressed while drawing (since I always sworry about the art being good enough for the author) because I knew it was like a little gift from me to me, if that makes sense. I knew what I wanted for the art for my fic, so that made it like going shopping for myself instead of shopping for a birthday gift (again, if that makes sense). Both experiences are really fun, drawing for others and drawing for myself, so I think I'll try it again other time as well!
The fic is "The Night that Almost Happened", and I decided to do everything as a "wedding theme" since the plot revolves around it. I wanted the banners to look like little invitations, and of course J2 dressed for the ocassion.
I wanted to also draw them kissing in their fancy suits, but time was my enemy at the end of this week, so I'll leave it for other time!
