Huh? None of this made any sense. When Wesley had given me this to work on I thought, Sure, I'll be able to handle this. No problem. But really? This was starting to get way more over my head than I thought it would. But I wasn't about to go back in Wesley's office and ask him for help. He seemed.. busy when I had been in there before. I

Suddnely, I heard the phone ring and I about fell backwards off the stool that I'd been sitting on. Regaining my balance, I looked at the phone. This had better be Angel, Charles, or Cordelia. But could it be a client? It wasn't exactly the greatest timing right now with all the other stuff that was goin on. Please don't be a client..Please don't be a client..
I leaned over and picked up the phone. "Hi, this is Angel Investigations. How can I-.. I mean, we help the help-..hopless.." There was a good reason that Cordelia was the one who normally answered the phone. I decided to go with the ever normal, "I mean..Hello?"

Once again, I about fell jumped off the stool I was sitting on when I heard Charles' voice on the other end of the phone. Thank god. Standing up off the stool, I laughed a bit into the phone.
"Well, I try." I smiled and started towards Wesley's office with the phone, but stopped with a grunt when the cord caught. Right. Not cordless. Rolling my eyes at myself, I shook my head. Not exactly sure why I did that, it wasn't as if Charles would read my head gestures.
"Everything's fine. Wesley is in his office workin on that prophecy. He gave me a little of it to work on, but I don't think I'm doing much good." I paused and sighed. "No, Angel left to go find Darla and we haven't seen him yet. And it's not like he'd call. Are y'all still over at Caritas? Did Lorne say it was alright to come there?"
I stopped myself from asking any more questions, although I had plenty more.
