Malik's gone... not like the others who disappeared and came back. I found Sacy's watch on my desk an' it was workin', so I went to thank him... and all his stuff was gone.

Just like that...

He was a good kid. I hope things turn out okay for him. An' I hope it let him keep that charm I gave him, 'cause it has good advice.

I guess it was bound to happen, right? He'd been here... a long time...

Yeah... At least he's home now? I know that doesn't help much, but...

He didn't seem to like his home very much, that's all. He was always down... his family really messed with his head back there. Convinced him he wasn't worth anythin', that he was supposed to be alone an' crap like that. I was hopin' he'd realize that ain't true before he went back.
