(episode i) i feel sparks
nichkhun/victoria
pg-13, ~304w
this is how they meet, and this is how his heart beats
-
his heart is in his throat as nichkhun waits faux-patiently for the elevator doors to open and reveal his new 'wife'.
he can taste nervousness, excitement and little bit of trepidation, and they don't make for a nice flavour in the back of his mouth.
nichkhun thinks he might throw up on camera when the elevator door dings, and for some reason it takes a ridiculously long time to open.
victoria's pretty face lights up in front of him, a mixture of bright eyes and pouty lips and for a moment, nichkhun is blinded.
(it's not like he was expecting some butt-ugly girl to be his wife, but he's spent far too much time thinking about how flexible victoria is to be completely unaffected by the amount of leg her dress shows.)
she is by far the oddest girl he's ever met, with questions that don't make sense and ridiculous hand gestures, but then she smiles, all sunshine-y and sincere, and nichkhun can't help but smile back.
they stumble over korean together, and nichkhun thinks it's fucking adorable when she pouts. victoria also has the same kind of humour that he and five-year-olds appreciate (as junho so tactfully puts it) and her laugh is this tinkling, happy sound that resonates inside his heart.
they make their way towards the elevator, talking about something mind-numbingly stupid (how thailand is like, really that hot) and nichkhun thinks it's kind of wonderful that it's already so easy around victoria that he can talk about something incredibly mundane.
their fingers brush occasionally, and it sends sparks to the ends of his nerves.
(nichkhun kind of wants to take her hand into his, just to see of it'll electrocute the rest of him, but decides it's far too early in the show for this kind of skinship.)
