Writing this epic novella took four days, but it was worth it. I'm glad you enjoyed, because the emotions had me on a rollercoaster ride. Dick and Damian are complex, and writing them together AND in character is hard.

haha, sometimes things like this, may they be sad or not, inspire us to write/draw/whatever :). And most of the time those works are the best, because they feel the most emotional.

It's funny that you say that! I had the crappiest week, so I wrote this, and them I felt loads better. It felt good, actually, so I guess a bad week can still end with a good story. :3

Oh my god, the ending made me cry so hard. This was so beautiful, from the start to the very finish, and I absolutely love your writing style. I love the themes and how utterly you could make me feel everything from joy at the beginning, with Dick running around being...Dick, to the very end. I love that you drew it out so much, it made me really believe in it by the end and I think that's what made this so powerful. Absolutely amazing, thank you so much for writing and sharing ;___;

I'm so glad you liked the characterizations! I just love character relationships and interpersonal communication flaws, and these two are the poster children for issues. XD Glad you liked the length! I had this planned out to be a much shorter, more light-hearted fic, but these two just bring out my inner angst. I ended up creating a child. I loved writing this one, and I'm proud of it, so I'm glad people leave feedback when they do. <3

THAT ENDING BROKE MY HEART. SERIOUSLY, THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO DESCRIBE IT. It was depressing and I could feel my heart being crushed by Damian's crying and Dick's dying and that last song and... and... askdljfaksdj I LOVED IT, BUT SERIOUSLY.
Uh, I know I'm rather random, appearing out of the blue and blaming you for a broken heart and all, but thank you for the good read. I truly appreciate it, broken heart and all. And of course, there's always time in my day for a Damian/Dick story. Know any other good ones I can read?

XD But I have one other one, called On Principle, and ladyk_d_azrael has this story which I absolutely ADORE called Closure, as well as a few others, one of which includes I'm Not A Juvenile Delinquent. For others, I would say there's a couple here, but other than that, I can't think of any off of the top of my head. XD

I wrote this inspired by something really crappy that happened to me the other day, actually. It was not at all like this story, but it inspired me somehow. The song just kind of happened. XD
