You think this essay of a fic wrote itself? *3* I had to go look up all the dates for the Cuban Missile Crisis, and WW2, and the Space Race, and telephones, to make sure I was doing it right. YOU SHOULD BE GLAD I LOVE YOU. THIS TOOK A WEEK IN FULL TO COME ABOUT. Well, four of the days were actually spent deciding what point in time I wanted this fic to happen.
