Jansson's Temptation

Also known as Jansson's Frestelse.  It's rich and delicious, and perfect for using up a tub of cream which you've bought for a dinner party, or whatever.  I found this recipe online, but didn't follow it slavishly - I used one onion, a couple of potatoes, a tin of anchovies and most of a large-ish pot of cream.

Ah, I'll do desserts next time then! Mind you, if you serve this for main course I doubt many people could stuff a dessert in too! It's oh so rich and yummy.

Lol! I might have quite enjoyed a secret vegetarian admirer, but delighted to see it's you!
Hope the recipe goes well with your adaptations - it seems to be a very forgiving recipe in terms of using quantities of whatever you have. I think capers might be really nice in it. Let me know how it goes!
