An excerpt from "My Life" by Ennis Del Mar as told to Soulan and annotated by Jack Twist.
Jack came to me once or twice a month and stayed for 24 hours. The first few visits were on my days off and we never left the bed. But three days before Junior got married he showed up and told me I had to buy a suit for the wedding before we could do anything. I'll help you, he said, adding Don't worry no one else can see me when he saw the look on my face. He rode into town with me and at first I was a nervous wreck walking down the street next to him. But I noticed that the expressions on the faces of the people we passed didn't change - just as they hadn't changed, I suddenly realized, when we'd walked side by side down a street on occasion during a few fishing trips. It dawned on me that those people really hadn't seen anything queer in two men together, contrary to my imaginings.
In the department store Jack stood by my side, keeping up a running commentary while the salesman tried to advise me - talk about nervewracking. Finally I retreated to the changing room with a suit and shirt. I had the slacks on and was about to button the shirt when Jack literally walked through the door. You know you can't keep me out when I want in, he grinned. Before I could protest he stepped up to me and leaned in, his hat tipping back from his head and falling silently to the floor. As he whispered Alone at last in my ear, he ran his hands over my chest, flicking my nipples with his thumbs. Somehow, Jack now had the power to instantly give me a raging hard on, one worthy of a teenager, at the slightest word or touch. My head banged against the partition as he ghosted his lips over mine before plunging his tongue into my mouth and letting his hand stray down to brush his fingers where the fabric was stretched tight. A moment later I heard the salesman clear his throat and ask if I was alright in there; Jack pulled away long enough for me to gasp out Uh... jus' ... fine! Then he whispered Better do something about that tent. Don't look right and in a flash he was on his knees and sliding the trousers down my thighs. He swallowed me right up to the hilt1 and at the same time reached up and clamped his hand over my mouth to keep me quiet. The mirror opposite us reflected back my wild, rolling eyes above his fingers. Less than ten seconds later I exploded, my prolonged groan caught in his palm, and had barely recovered when Jack sprang to his feet and wiped his mouth before pulling up my pants and fastening them. His fingers flew up the front of my shirt, buttoning it, and then he held the jacket while I slipped into it. Not perfect, but good enough for Ennis Del Mar, he declared with a wink and I think he was making fun. But I didn't care, because I was having fun.
On the big day my daughter was so pleased that I'd bought a new suit for the occasion. She said it made me look like a new man, but I knew the real reason.2

1 No more gag reflex!
2 Couldnt be there for the weddin but I helped him knot the tie when we got back to his place. Then he losened it and hung it on a doornob til the day. Course I made him model the suit that night but then it seemed like a bad idea cause when I was pressed up to him he felt like somebody else and that reminded me a the times when I'd been with another guy in a jacket like that one. And just like that I come to know that I was still carryin some hurt around even when I thought I was passed all that and that we werent neither of us new men yet.
