I've had a bunch of extra time on my hands, so I've been watching movies.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off is still great.
Little Shop of Horrors (1986) is even better.
Dear Zachary is a great documentary about something just so brutally fucked up.
The Savages was really good and sad, but Dave was right about the ending. I still liked it.

Agreed. I knew that there was some kind of twist in the movie, but ... I had no idea.

Little Shop of Horrors was such a nice surprise. I mean a musical with Steve Martin and Rick Moranis, expectations were low LOL I still listen to the soundtrack often :)

I don't really remember thinking about it when it came out, and I have no idea when I first saw it, but that movie rocks.

Frank Oz has such a weird and impressive career. Who would think that the same guy who made LSoH also directed 'Bowfinger', 'In & Out', and does the voices for Yoda and Miss Piggy?

The Host is so amazing. Seriously, I hate reading movies and still loved it.

And I second the comment about not missing anything with Vacancy. I saw it because I adore both of the stars, but even then it was hard to sit through without going to sleep. It was the least horrifying "horror" movie I have ever seen...

My friend Mark, who is a horror movie buff, complained that the start of The Host was a little slow, but he ended up getting into it.
