A friend of mine recently introduced me to the music of Clifford Brown who teamed up with Max Roach to form the Clifford Brown and Max Roach Quintet. I was surprised that I hadn't ever really heard of or at least remembered hearing of Clifford Brown since I was already familiar with Roach. Anyways, "Brownie" was incredible!
