[well, maybe Doumeki has almost forgotten, but Watanuki certainly hasn't, and it's with a large container of said oyakodon - and some other favoured things, because he's just that good, obviously - that he comes a-knocking. politely, again.

really, though, getting such a message was just a good excuse to visit his friend; even without it, Watanuki would've been checking in on his friend today, this just happened to be a good opportunity.]

[Doumeki fumbles slightly when there's a knock at the door, spilling water on the counter and sighs a bit, picking up a towel and dropping it over the puddle before going to the door. he expects it to be Squall with an armful of groceries or something similar and unable to open the door, so his expression is pretty neutral when he opens the door.

he shifts a bit when he sees Watanuki there, slight confusion crossing his features before he makes a considering noise and steps back, holding the door more open]

Ah. [he leans in to look at the containers Watanuki is carrying, and finally remembers that he asked him for something to eat. he pauses] I'm making coffee.

[once the door is fully open, he's thoughtlessly walking in and shifting his shoes off, all set to start making someone else's kitchen his again - and then he nearly drops his things once he gives Doumeki a proper look-over. naturally, Watanuki's expression drops completely.

and after a second. a pretty long second.] Not any more, you're not. [cue the kitchenal takeover.] You look terrible!

[he steps aside to allow the boy to enter, and closes the door behind him, moving a bit clumsily in general and trying to keep Watanuki from seeing the back of his head, both because it looks strange with the shaved bit and because he doesn't want Watanuki to see the stitches. his hand comes up to the back of his head though, rubbing at the bare skin and the edge of the hair]

It's not that bad. I got some sleep.

[he trails into the kitchen afater Watanuki, moving slightly aimlessly and leaning against the counter]

Squall is out.
