Characters: Ash Ketchum, Namine, and Heather Mason. Location: Lobby of Casualty Commons Rating: G Time: June 19th - Afternoon Description: Three young people try to figure out what they can do to help with the war effort.
Seven flights of stairs was nothing to him anymore, but it was a good amount of time to think. He had no idea just why he was agreeing to this; he wasn't the type to just sit around while something like this was happening. He paused at the last flight, staring down at the door that would lead to the lobby. Why was this so weird? ...had that Shadow actually gotten to him?
No...he couldn't just give up. These people might not know what any of them would eventually wind up doing but they weren't going to just forget what happened.
He pushed the door open and spotted the girl, he didn't see Namine around but he did tend to take stairs pretty face.
"Hey." He was still in a pretty calm mood, at least for him, "I'm Ash- not sure if you knew that yet."
Naminé hadn't been moping around in her room, per se. She'd been in her room, yes, only because the people from Shibusen had given her that space to recover from the sudden change in locations. Everything else, however... She pressed her hand to her chest, feeling the returned emptiness and ache there. Again, she was separated from her other, but this time...
It hurt, to remember the feeling of completion only to have it torn away again.
Carefully, she made her way down thirteen floors, letting the quiet envelop her. She wanted to go back, and staying in her apartment like what Kurogane said wasn't going to help her. Even if she couldn't fight...
She lifted her head when she reached the ground floor, looking around for Ash. This will have to do.
"I didn't. I'm Heather." The girl responded to the boy's introduction, turning to focus on him. "Nice to meet you, Ash." There was a sadness and a worn quality to the other teen even as she greeted him. As she moved to join the other youth, her gaze flicked to the stair where a girl had just appeared. She nodded to the newcomer, glancing to Ash.
"Is that your friend?" Who else would be down here right now?
Ash turned and spotted Namine, nodding and offering a small smile, "Yeah- that's Namine." He waved his hand to catch the other blonds attention. "What exactly do you do to help at a clinic?" What little medical knowledge he had would be better for use at a vet then a clinic. So he was going to follow Heather pretty much for what he could.
