Yuri had always made his offer to join the Watch. It had been easy enough to gain an interview, and he doubted that his request would be denied. Once he'd situated himself neatly in the DOGs headquarters, then he'd be able to gain all the information he'd need for when Lunatic was finally able to be released into the city. He'd already begun investigating a number of those in the city for the crimes they've committed, but now was not the time. He hadn't come this far to be sloppy.

That was why he was making his way to the building now. He had a meeting with Roy to get things underway, and the sooner he established himself here, the better everything would be in the future.

His movements were similar to that of every other business man. Nothing about his outfit or demeanour would ever give him away as anything else, and that was the whole reason as to why he did it, along with the theatrics of his alter-ego. Sighting what appeared to be the DOGs entrance up ahead, the judge made his way over.

Of course she had 'accidentally' snooped into some of Roy's applications to see who was coming on the Watch team. She took it upon herself to do a few subtle background checks, and by background checks, she followed them occasionally and tried to snoop for where they lived so she could observe.

She stepped out of the main door just as he was approaching, and she recognized him immediately. That suit, that air of haughty importance, that 'I'm on time so get out of the way' attitude spoke of the man she had observed a few times. She had cornered him a few as well, pleased to see his mask was firmly in place despite what she had first seen.

"Mr. Petrov, what a pleasant surprise," she said with a mean twinkle in her eyes as she stood casually in front of the door. "Roy mentioned that you were coming to join the Watch. The Detective Agency and now the Watch; you are a busy man."

There was only the most subtle of flaws in his walk as he misstepped at the sight of just who had exited the building. Regaining control of his surprise, he schooled his features immediately to a more neutral expression. Of course he had seen that she worked here, but he hadn't exactly expected to see her this quickly. It was an unfortunate encounter in his mind, but it should be easy enough to avoid and step around to get to his main goal.

"Good afternoon, Miss Kerrigan," Yuri said in return. His gaze was cool and calm despite the telltale glint Kerrigan had. "We all do what we can. The demand here for my services aren't as high as in my own city."

While it was casual to anyone that would be walking by, Sarah purposefully barred his way from getting into the building. She had nothing against him, but he was a very interesting person. She liked to needle him and watch him when he made an appearance. As far as she could tell, he was a very private and secretive person. Those were wonderful challenges.

"Oh, so you'll be joining other security organizations soon enough as well? That's quite a bit of information at your finger tips," she aired casually, smoothing pushing some of her red hair from her eyes. "Good thing a man like you with so much firm control is used to responsibility and the privacy of other people's information."

She sighed in a slightly dramatic way. "One never knows when a predator might show up in the city. Your keen eye will surely help."

He was making his way back towards the Shibusen building after morning training. The generator was near completion, but that wasn't what was on his mind. Tassadar had seen that Kerrigan had eventually returned from her self-inflicted isolation, but he had kept his distance to allow her to continue working through all that he had showed her. That was why he had yet to approach the young Ghost and had allowed her as much time and distance as needed ( ... )

Sarah paused in scoping out windows around the area, and she knew that his presence easily. She had spent a lot of time around Tassadar lately, both for the generator and on missions. For his part, he had built her trust up well, but she knew that the memories he had shared with her were still bothersome ( ... )

Tassadar made no move to continue as he was while he waited for Kerrigan's decision. He would accept it either way, as it had only been a short period since she'd received such ill-tidings for her future. Learning of such would have undoubtedly been difficult. He couldn't imagine how he would have react if he'd been in a similar situation. To know that he would go against his orders, betray the Conclave, and lose all of his titles and ranks. The situation was far different from Kerrigan's own, but titles meant much when it came to protoss society ( ... )

The only reason she was actually disgruntled was to draw him into a conversation that she didn't find particularly awkward. She glanced at his tall form when he came to stand beside her, no longer intimidated by his sheer size. She had spent enough time around him to know that he had given up on the idea that she was a threat to the city.

"No, I suppose you're right," she murmured and looked around. She turned her head so that she could see into a few Watch windows before sighing. "Odd how I have to make a big deal out of things where the chances of a real threat are minimal. It's not like I'm strong enough to protect a Deathscythe."

She finally dropped her arms back to her sides and stared out across the city. "You told me to find a purpose in the city, but I don't know what I can do anymore. I can't prevent what you and Selendis have seen, yet I eel like I should try...."
