[Emil's still searching for a partner, so he's on the lookout for anyone who might fit with him. He's really hoping for something to work out!

...He's not looking forward to explaining to people that they'll have to try resonating with him twice, though.]

Okay!

[Emil closes his eyes to concentrate - he's pretty sure he knows what to look for, so it's not long before he's reaching out himself.]

[When they do come into contact, the results are more than satisfactory, at least: that much is obvious, in the rush of power that hits them both, and the fact that they could sense each other.

They were doing well.]

Oh!

[He can definitely feel that, and though the sensation surprises him Emil manages to stay focused. His grip on the nodachi tightens slightly, before he notices what he's doing and relaxes it again--does it hurt when he does that?]

[Not at all. XD]

...Better. Once you are ready, we can attempt to resonate a second time, with your other self.

All right!

[He stands the nodachi up on the ground and waits; it takes only a second for his other self to take command, at which point Koujurou may notice a slight difference in what he's feeling from Emil.]

It's done.

[Hum. Studying this new difference carefully, in order to see how he might adjust himself.

Everything seems to be fine for the moment...]

[Ratatosk Mode Emil doesn't waste time with words, only gripping the nodachi and swinging it again to get started. He's sure Koujurou will adapt if needed.]

[And in that, he's correct. It does not take much effort, nor is he too surprised.

He has to be, if for anything else, adaptable in order to be the Dragon's Right Eye.]

[Emil lingers a little on testing out the weapon, getting a feel for its weight and movement; training and fighting are usually the only reasons he comes out now but they're his area, so he's taking it especially seriously. It's only then that he tries to reach out with his soul, following the same steps his other self did--although this time it takes longer for him to do so successfully.]

[He grasps back the moment he senses that the Meister's attempting to resonate. By this time, he's almost perfectly adjusted to the change that Emil underwent.]

Huh.

[Emil tries working with the weapon again, seeing if it feels any different now.]

[Just a minute adjustment in response, and then nothing.

Clearly this Weapon's used to dealing with all sorts of Meisters. And people.]
