Tifa had found herself in a similar situation with the move, though with far happier results than Itachi seemed to be finding. Arriving to training that day, she'd barely finished moved in with Aerith the day before, the boxes that Cloud and she had carted over lying unpacked in her new room. She didn't have much, but it seemed there would be plenty of time to settle in now that she was there.

When she saw Itachi at the breakfast table after training, she paused a moment. Normally, she'd go and greet him and they'd chat for a moment before heading off on their separate ways, but she couldn't help but think of the conversation she'd had with Sai the other day about him. Feeling a little ashamed, like she'd been prying into his life without his permission, Tifa hesitated before going over to where Itachi was surveying the tea. Once standing at his side, she tilted her head at him and smiled softly, "Afternoon, Itachi."

This time he did recognize Tifa before she was directly in his line of sight, it was becoming increasingly easier for Itachi to tell people apart by the way they carried themselves. He gave the dark haired girl a nod. "Hello Tifa-san." Taking another sip of tea he gestured in the direction they had both come from. "Training went well today?"

Tifa gave a nod, following his gesture for a moment before looking back to him. "Well enough," she replied with a small shrug, "there are some good new recruits in this time, it seems."

They had not really ever talked about their own worlds to each other--a tidbit here or there, some detail that was ultimately insignificant, but Tifa had thought that the friendship they'd struck up here was a sort of new leaf for both of them. He didn't know that she'd been a terrorist and she didn't know... anything, really. But it felt superficial suddenly, to proceed like this. Maybe it'd been brought on by the feeling of being shut out of part of Cloud's life, but a slight determination rose in her as she turned more towards Itachi.

"Are you busy right now? I was thinking we should get some lunch."

The shinobi shook his head at her. "No, I am free now."

It was lunchtime for him anyway-- usually Itachi spent it at home in his apartment, eating one of Naruto's many packets of ramen. It was the only time of day he had to himself, and he liked to spend it quietly. Tifa, however, was never too pushy or loud, and he found her company was unlikely to take away from his quiet time.

He was also perfectly aware of the fact that the woman had seen Sai's post about him, although he had no intention of bringing that up.

"Do you have a preference?"
