"Just a moment," she called out, standing from the place at her desk, feeling discomfort again for the odd, borrowed clothing she was wearing for the way her legs were put on display by the pants and her forearms were completely bare from the short sleeves of the t-shirt. She took up a bandage roll that had been ready for when she did leave the room, wrapping her left forearm as quickly as she could to hide the scars that had been left after the Kishin attack. She desperately needed to get her own clothing. With long sleevesIt wasn't a particularly good wrap considering it was only done in seconds, but it was certainly good enough to answer the door. At the very least she wasn't held back by the sling any longer. Hiding her discomfort and embarrassment in her state of dress, she moved ( ... )

"Sorry to drop in without telling you. I had an idea actually. " Kaoru replied, looking around the pretty room she saw last before turning to look at her, a bit shyly, but a lot more open this time.
"Tomoe-san, would you want to go shopping with me? We're both a little short on clothes and the ones I lent you aren't warm enough...so I was thinking maybe we should go look for some together. Does that sound alright?" Large blue eyes lifted expectantly.

She just flat out did not expect anyone to... pay attention or care enough to say anything. She was used to being the one in that position.
"Yes, most definitely..." she said, perhaps a bit too quickly, giving another nod. "I have been meaning to do so--they said necessities would be provided if we just displayed our communicators... so it should work, right...?" At least she hoped so because her job didn't start until January...

Things like this weren't much, and yet were still huge considering the person.
"I don't see why not. As long as you don't press the big red button, we should be just fine!" She chirped in response.
