[ The most cheerful woman to ever step foot in death city, Rangiku Matsumoto, appears to have been here for quite a while, with the impressive entirely empty bottles she currently has resting on the counter next to her. Of course, her perception and hand eye coordination being off while drunk has no place on her mind as her hand accidentally hits her drink and spills some directly towards Zantanna.

Rangiku just ends up frowning and begins to whine. ]

Argh! Damn it! Why do my drinks always end up spilling?! These things shouldn't happen to good people!

We can always try -- hopefully we'll remember at least a portion of them by the end of the night! [She grins through the whole intro; she's not usually too fond of people that lack modesty, but the way she goes about it isn't all that conceited. (Plus, she's not lying or anything...)] Well, I'm Zatanna Zatara and I am a magician first and a super-heroine second. I love my job and I tend to throw myself into work. [Considering she's super-famous, popular, and wealthy and she makes her money doing something most people consider a hobby... well, it's not hard to do that sort of thing and enjoy it! Hmmm~? I had a couple back home but they aren't here! I'd love to be your drinking buddy~! With someone like you as a drinking partner, I could really get used to this place! As for kids? I think there more teenagers than actual children, but it is a shame that there aren't more that could legally join us. But I guess this means more to ourselves, right?!

I'm not much of a musician, actually. I can play a bit of piano, but I've always been more of a listener than a player. [And a bit of a snob about, but there's no reason to mention that quite yet...] To be honest, I tend to keep a busy schedule so I don't get too attached to people. [Also, magic's her passion. But whatever, man. Just details.]

But I wouldn't cut myself from everyone~! That's just not my style! I'm a people person, I need to be social to thrive! And to not work. Trying to kill time by yourself is boring~! [ She shrugs. ]

Fantastic! Honestly, most of the people I come into contact with can pass for their mid-twenties or younger, there aren't much that are older than twenty, physically at least. The aging system back home is sort of weird anyways. [ She shrugs. ]

[Zatanna's a "people person," too. It's a delicate thing, really. She's good at being close to people but keeping them at an arm's length. She's full of contradictions that still somehow make sense, at least if context is given...]

Ah, well, this is sort of... as old as I'll ever be. Physically, at least. [Rather than expound upon that, she downs her drink and starts on another.] Not that I have a problem with kids or anything. I've just always found myself more attracted to people who look like they've lived a little.
