Kei was still being held by Ryuuji, in his scepter form, but if he wasn't you would have seen the guy eyes wide open in a surprise expression. He had set up small domestic maid explosives yes, but they were located strategically only to blow the final part of the sewer and trap the Kishin egg... No way it would have caused on it's own to fracture all that from the main tunnel.

"Yes, thought I'll admit I never thought the kishin egg would manage to get this far..." he eyes Ryuuji "Nor it was supposed to fracture this much, did you also had a hand on this?" He asks.

"Tch," Ryuuji gave the Weapon another look before crouching down to check the straps of his sandals in the light of the scepter. One was still fine but the other one was close to tearing thanks to all the action it had been exposed to, damn. He would have to be careful with it or calculate the chances of it tearing at the worst possible moments. Walking without his shoes in this place was nothing he wanted to consider. "Of course I did."

Giving the blocked wall behind them a look, he got back up slowly. Kei sounded fine and he himself was also mostly just exhausted from using his abilities but without any serious injuries. "We are going to have to find a way back to there and make sure that it's dead. Can you dim your light? I don't want to give it an advance warning that we're coming."

[Kei took a deep breath] [Diminishing the light was always something sort of tricky for him] [The light blinked a couple of times in his attempts, before it diminished at last]

Do you always wear this sort of garments on missions? [Kei asked] [If Ryuuji could feel it, the boy was thorned between the practical aspects of the yukata (which weren't much on the field) and how much it reminded him of one of his favorite characters of an historical drama (which made him feel like he was part of it)]

Another scowl. Ryuuji got comments about his choice of clothes from time to time (just like that one time his classmates were too busy commenting on his "Mansai Nomura getup" to get out of a fear-infested village in time), but he liked them the way they were.

"Is there a problem with that?" He started walking down the tunnel. With a little luck it would connect to the main one with the kishin egg soon.
