It had been a very long time since he had spotted Tassadar, and while that normally would not have bothered him, much had happened since the last time they had spoken. He knew that the Protoss was busy doing what he could to help bolster Shibusen's defenses, which was, perhaps, another reason why he wanted to check up on the Zone Leader.

The Meister made his way down to the basement of the school, making no move to conceal his presence or whatever else. It would not do to come around uninvited. He called out, of course, once he hit the end of the stairwell.

"Tassadar?"

He wasn't going to go any further if he wasn't welcome. Something told him that the Protoss would not be inclined to let just about anyone take a look at his handiwork, or distract him from his task.

The shift of scent on the air alerted the templar to the arrival of another moments before hearing the steps. It was a familiar scent, one he hadn't experienced for quite some time, but one that he could never forget. Why the head of the Watch was coming to visit this area of Shibusen was beyond him, however, and it left him feeling curious.

He didn't turn around at first as he finished closing off the probe and Roy called out to him. Once the last screws were in place a few moments after, he gently placed it back on the table before stepping around to face the head of the Watch.

'En Taro Adun, Roy Mustang,' Tassadar murmured as he inclined his head in greeting. He wouldn't deny that he was curious as to why Roy was here.

Roy nodded in return and smiled.

"Hi. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

He did not move in any closer just yet. He wanted to make sure that he was welcome first.

A nod accompanied Roy's words, and when the head of the Watch didn't move, the templar gave a sweeping gesture for the man to enter. 'Are you in need of my assistance?' He asked while waiting for Roy to settle himself.

Tassadar wasn't one to delay a conversation that may be of some importance. The fact that Roy could see the generator that was well over half-complete didn't bother him, for the blueprints were behind where he stood and mostly out of sight. If Roy glanced closely enough at the generator, he might have caught sight of the large khaydarin crystal nestled within the barriers of wire and metal surrounding it. Not to mention that the place where the crystal once was on Tassadar's chest-plate is now empty.

[ooc: yo! just dropping in a line to say that I'll be on a roadtrip from now until the next five days (so Tuesday morning your time!). I'm not sure if I'll get net access at the hotel or not yet, so I don't know if I'll be able to post there. I will have to see!]
