Sarah had needed a break from the constant building and sitting, so she had taken time away to check on various aspects of the normal city life. She had been away several days, but she had found herself troubled by old injuries that she did well to hide. Normal life had only so much entertainment before things simply crept up again ( ... )

Tassadar was absorbed in his work while Kerrigan watched him. It had taken him time, but soon enough he had caught her scent on the air. Working through the re-calibrations for the experimental probe, he remained quietly crouched there while she watched on. It didn't bother him in the slightest, and when she finally broke her silence, he finished what he was doing before finally glancing back over his shoulder to view the Ghost.

'This project will not get done on its own,' the templar murmured before picking up the probe and standing up to place it on the bench. Ignoring his work for now, he turned around to face Kerrigan as he chuckled. 'And just what would you suggest that I do that is productive?'

She knew that it wouldn't, but he had been spending a considerable amount of time down here. When was the last time that he had seen his partner or gone on a mission anyway? He probably hadn't done much of either, and she supposed that she could understand the need for secrecy from others.

"True enough, but we've made good progress so far. Shouldn't you also perform your duties to the Watch and your partner?" She didn't have that concern because there had been no one wanting to stick by her as a partner. Thus, she was fine to give up increasing amounts of time to this place. "When was the last time you went on a mission outside of the city?"

Kerrigan's words left him quietly in thought. He had last seen Nataku on the human's new years eve and they had spent the night outside watching what they could before he had returned here. The Watch was of little concern to him, and he trusted his partner enough to take care of their sector without his interference.

In fact, he had welcomed the isolation this room had brought, as much as he would admit to himself anyway. It allowed him to both be alone with his thoughts and gave him a distraction from them when needed as well.

'Nataku is capable of handling our sector while I work on this generator,' Tassadar offered while his gaze remain steadily on Kerrigan. It only took him a moment to calculate the time before he murmured, 'It has been a little over three weeks since I was last on one.'
