[ Kasuga was running later than was usual for two reasons-- the first being that she was not wearing clothing appropriate for her usual dash across the rooftops of Death City. The second was because it had taken her far longer to pick out what to wear than she had anticipated.

While she had been out to a nicer dinner once before, she had not realized at that time that there was an appropriate way to dress. Even still she was unsure exactly what the appropriate attire was. In the end, she had opted for a black sweater vest, complete with a belt, a pair of thick gray tights and a pair of thigh-high boots that would have been made for trekking through the snow had it not been for the inch heal. Unused to modern clothing, the kunoichi had spent far more time in the mirror making sure she looked okay than was usual for her, even as her partner insisted that she looked fine

Oh, no you aren't, darling.

[Bayonetta comes close to the kunoichi and kisses her on both cheeks in quite an affectionate manner.]

You're dressed nicely tonight.

[ Both the other woman's gesture as well as her words cause a tinge of pink to cross her features. ]

I-- Thank you. I was not sure if it would be appropriate... [ She trails off, lifting a hand to her cheek where the other woman had kissed her with confusion all over her face. Was she supposed to do the same in return? ]

It's appropriate enough. [She chuckles.] Confused to why I kissed you? It's a common way of greeting someone you're fond of.
