[The cheer is fairly contagious, a little bit, the kind of cheer that makes Kuroro whistle all day as he goes about his business. He promised to get people presents now and he's been buying a few (and stealing some others), but he hasn't distributed anything yet.
At the moment, he's on the kitchen counter, writing something on an apron that he had bought earlier, his present for China. Kuroro finishes with a scratchy flourish and leaves the thing on the counter to dry when he hears someone come down the corridor.]
[He doesn't really think about it, just walks the five steps over and opens the door.]
Oh. [ : D ] China!

Then again, he only needed to get presents for maybe a dozen people. That's not as bad as he'd thought.]

[the enthusasism's not faked, but there might be a good heaping of amusement over how absolutely pleased with life the black-haired man looks -- a far improvement from the sick days, for sure, and even more of a bettering from the days before that. gaze naturally flitting back into the room, Kurapika would be leveled with the same amused-happiness look, right before China hefted his tub of food toward Kuroro.]
You have not eaten yet, have you? It is still early, yes?
[even if the days were getting shorter and the nights getting colder, and it was already seven... eh. time flew when you were enjoying yourself, didn't it?]
