[It seemed like everyone was hurt, lately, or at least in the hospital. Souji's memories of hospitals tended to be okay, but that didn't make him want to go there more often. But Fuuka had come up with a good idea, and with so many people in the hospital during the holidays, Souji knew that they would all appreciate something nice to take their mind off of where they were and how they got there

[ There was that familiar voice. It wasn't expected, no, but it didn't scare him, either. He smiled sadly as he turned around, still a little stiff from his wound but otherwise all right. Healthy-looking, if a little pale.

What to say...? He grappled with words for a few moments, before settling with the simplest thing. ]

Souji... hi. What are you doing here?

[He smiled, coming into the hospital room and shutting the door behind him.]

I came to wish you a Merry Christmas. [He took in his features, the fact that he was wearing a coat.]

Going somewhere?

Leaving the clinic, finally. With yet another scar for the road. [ Kurt rolled his eyes, his free hand going up to touch it under the layers of his coat and the sweater underneath.

He shrugged nonchalantly. ] Not a bad Christmas gift, though. But... I guess, I'm glad you caught me? [ He gave a humorless laugh and looked down at the floor for a few moments. ] And... Merry Christmas back. I should maybe get going...

[ Unless Souji wanted to leave with him. He wouldn't say no to the company. He waited a few beats, looking up and awkwardly waiting for a reply. ]
