[ Sakamoto was a rambling man, which was to say that he rarely ever stayed in one place too long. Holiday or working day, he would be up and out and never where one would expect to find him, unless it happened to be the local hostess bar. This day was no exception, snow and merriment all.

Clattering aimlessly down the streets, he's simply there, an apparently lost man with one hand at the back of his head as if in perpetual apology, his other holding a poorly-wrapped parcel to his chest. A drunkard waylaid on the path home, perhaps, as was the norm with him.

All he had to do was happen upon a certain youth, and he could become un-lost in time. It all depended on whether luck was with him that day.

His search methods were never the most efficient, truth be told. ]

[Said youth was passing through the area. Sakamoto's gift was one he had kept on himself at all times - he knew that finding his comrade was mostly a matter of pure luck.
