Characters: staysclassy and celestialistic Location: Casualty Communal, Rai's room Rating: G Time: Backdated to afternoon of December 12, after this Description: How to make tea, by Lucy Heartfilia
Skipping over to the counter, Lucy grabbed a nearly empty shopping bag. She gingerly shook it out a couple of times before filling it up with a couple of sweets. Mumbling a couple of words to herself and confirming the items in the bag, she smiled a little she headed towards the door.
She supposed the snacks could also pose as a temporary housewarming gift. It’s not like she owned anything more appropriate or attuned to the occasion, anyway.
She shut the door behind her quietly before using her free hand to access her communicator. Lucy quickly reconfirmed the room number before slowly making her way there. “At least we’re in the same building,” she mused to herself, as she walked into the elevator, pressing the button for the first floor. She patiently waited for the “ping” before stepping out and into the long and bare hall.
She finds his room rather quickly and takes in a couple of deep breathes before giving the door a couple of well-placed knocks.
He looks up slowly at the door from where the knocks sounded. Was that his helper? Wherever she had been previously, it must not have been far.
Rai stands quietly and makes his way to the door. In his current state, the most he can gauge from his surrounding is whether there was harmful intent towards him or not, but even that doesn't give him much information about another without direct contact. He touches the handle, then grips it, turning it cautiously. The door opens slowly.
And he sees the girl with whom he had conversed not too long ago. He nods in greeting.
Seeing the man from earlier she waved a little nervously. She lifted her bag of snacks towards him and smiled awkwardly, “I-I hope you’re all right with sweets.” Off-network meetings always did have a way of making her anxious.
Trying to take her mind off of her nerves, she instead took this opportunity to look around the room behind him. Though, this only lasted a couple of seconds before she quickly stopped herself and dissolved her gaze entirely. She figured it was sort of rude anyway and so she decided to start with something else. "Is it okay if I come in?” And after a short pause, she added, “My name is Lucy, by the way. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier.”
How many in this city were such young people? He had only had a glimpse throughout the week, not having explored much, but there were few too many placed within this war setting. He glances at the bag when she lifts it, and makes no comment. He usually didn't have anything else with his tea, but he would make an exception as an acceptance of her generosity.
"Cadis Etrama Di Raziel," he says, before turning around and making his way back to the table. He didn't doubt that she would follow.
