[ Kurt has lit the candles and now it's time to sing happy birthday and eat the cake! Aren't you glad you waited? This cake is delicious and full of so much chocolate it probably noticeably helped the entire country of Papua New Guinea's export economy just by existing. ]

[It was almost midnight, and while Rise was getting tired from partying all night, she had one last trick up her sleeve. It was too short notice to get Yosuke-senpai a real present from the store, so she figured maybe she oughta do this instead. It was sort of spontaneous; she didn't really have anything specific planned. But with Kurt's permission, Rise was able to get set up for an impromptu live show right here, right now.]

Hi hi, everybody! Are you all having fun tonight? [Rise asks into the microphone, a winning smile on her face. It was clear she was used to performing in front of people, just from how she held herself up there.] My name's Rise Kujikawa, but you can call me Risette! Since it's a party, I'd like to perform a little show for one of my best senpai ever! You all know him, right? Yosuke Hanamura, our birthday boy!

Whew! [Rise takes a bow, the singing and dancing starting to wear her out. It's really been too long since her last live. She was probably going to feel it in the morning. [ After Rise's closing show, if anyone wants to stick around as they switch out the amps and the mics for karaoke equipment, feel free. The party's almost over, but the true fun has yet to begin.

[Never being shy, as soon as the equipment is set up Masaru jumps up there, snickering to himself. He's a little redfaced from the 'punch', and... looking 200% more hipster after raiding Eridan's room]

Okay, okay... me first!

[Coughcough and...starts belting surprisingly softly. But by the time he finishes he's waving back and forth, like he might have... fallen asleep standing up]

[Chika well... blinks, looking as Masaru sings. That... didn't sound like a song that he'd really sing much at all.

Though there was a bigger problem.]

[ Kurt's a little down at this point of the party, but there's nothing like singing a happy, silly song to someone you like to raise your spirits.

The song is a classic, and it's mostly instrumental, so Kurt freestyles it up dancing on the miniature stage they'd brought in for Rise's show. A key points, he points straight at Yosuke.

Yosuke does still owe him a dance, after all. He'd like him to dance.

He's well aware his singing on this song isn't the best - it's challenging, and more rock-and-roll than Kurt is used to. He doesn't really know what to do with it, honestly, but he can't imagine singing anything else. ]
