Huh. For the first time in a long time, a place smelled like burned something and Reno hadn't caused it. Miracles.

He knocked on the lovebird's door, hefting the paper bag of various bottles of booze so he wouldn't drop it.

Yeah, it seemed as though this little couple was going to have a high takeout bill every month. That was, unless Zack took lessons from one good friend by the name of D, but even then the quality was still questionable.

And hey, hey, hey watch the lovebird stuff. They were clearly love-cactuars, too scared and jumpy to make the correct move yet. Of course, Reno's gifts might be able to change all that.

Opening the door, Zack's face lit up, though at the sight of the Turk or the booze, it wasn't clear. "Heeey! Want me to take that from you?" Precious cargo, indeed. He wedged the door open a little more with the back of his heel and cocked his head towards the kitchen.

"You're the first one here. I bet you don't hear that often, huh?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Reno handed over the bag, sniffing. "Damn, what the hell did y'try and cook, Fair? Roast Mog?"

[Seemingly out of nowhere, Yuffie suddenly jumps up beside the other woman, a similar drink in her own hand and the other holding a finger up in the air.]

I have one! It's fun, I promise! [That's bad news, isn't it?] "I've never," right? You know it? [A hopeful look to Aerith with a just-as-hopefully-innocent smile.]

[Reno, who never left the couch, honest, glances over and gives Yuffie a look.]

Seriously? That's your idea of a drinkin' game? What, afraid someone'll cheat if you play cards or something?

But now Yuffie's clinging to a sobering-but-still-tipsy dizziness and she finally stands back from the others, snickering at them to herself. It's an affectionate snickering, honest, because these are some of her favorite people in the world and she's perfectly content with not forcing herself into being the center of attention for once.]

[Reno's got a glass of...something suitably alcoholic in his hand as he flops down next to the ninja. He doesn't put an arm around her or anything, though, since....well, mixed company.]

[She doesn't look directly at him, but rather watches him from the corner of her eye with a slight pout tugging down at the corners of her lips now.]

I thought I'd take a break. It's tough being as popular as I am, but I understand if you don't know how that feels. [And then she's right back to grinning, just teasing him quietly. It's not like she wants to draw any attention toward them.]
