"They are enemies."

Koujurou's response was typically mild. The Weapon currently leaned against the wall close to the door of the room. Vergil took one point; he took the other. Battlefield habits.

"If lethal force is required to subdue them, then so be it."

Perhaps it had been a redundant gesture. After all, between the two of them, Koujurou had no doubt killed many more people. He wouldn't have wondered were it not for the fact that murder was generally considered to be abhorrent among humans. Apparently.

"Noone else has appeared for some time. If we can neutralize the problem in its entirety now..." -then he didn't want to waste the opportunity, nor was he taking the risk that any of them could walk away. He didn't do "mercy".

Since the Weapon was evidently without objection, Vergil stole one more glance out the window before proceeding to ease his coat from his shoulders. The man had come prepared. He replaced it with a black and much larger one, and drew his amulet out from beneath his vest so that it was visible. At distance in the night it might vaguely pass as a talisman.

Subterfuge wasn't usually his style, but every edge they could gain would be vital. They were fighting intelligent enemies this time.

"We will be able to neutralize it."

After facing thousands on the battlefield and following his master into what he very well considered to be the depths of Hell time and again, this was nothing to Koujurou. The Weapon straightened up as soon as Vergil was done, and opened the door, stepping out first.

"I will transform now."

Best if their enemies thought that they'd only be dealing with one armed person. The less they knew about them, the better.

He nodded. Even on the odd chance that there were still cultists unaccounted for, if they could remove the vast majority of their numbers it would at least bring a halt to their activities for a significant length of time. Of course, Vergil preferred a total purge.

Crossing the room, he flipped up his hood to conceal his facial features, and then followed Koujurou out, closing and locking the door. He extended a hand to the Weapon, even while wishing he'd known ahead of time that they would have ended up dealing with humans. Black Dragon and his own katana ought to be enough, but there was no telling how armed the others would be.

"Let's keep it simple," he suggested - no lightning necessary - before adding, "There's no telling what will happen once we're discovered, but I'll get us as close as possible." Inside would be ideal, but gaining free entry was extremely unlikely.
