Time: from December 2 - all day, during various shifts - down to the morning of December 3.
Description: Watch patrols happen on a daily basis, but the events of such are usually handwaved. This one's the official log for this out-of-game month!

[Mello's sour mood of earlier has persisted. He's not ready to let go of it yet, and the Christmas decorations going up are just another excuse to scowl. He's sticking with the Watch for now, though, because he thinks it may still come in useful. Besides, it's something to do.

He's never in his life been at loose ends like this. Maybe that's why the two kids catch his eye. Not unlike himself at that age, though he'd like to believe he was a lot better at stealth; their manner screams up to something, with the way they're whispering and casting furtive glances around.

Figuring out what it is they're up to sounds a hell of a lot better than wandering aimlessly. He starts to tail them, keeping a reasonable distance.]

[While she was grateful for being given the shift she had, Fabiola was used to working far more for far less- so the first couple of hours after her shift usually found her wandering as inconspicuously as possible through districts where the people who had just replaced her wouldn't be likely to see. Which was why when she saw the two, and then spotted the man following them, she was able to sneak up alongside him as well, and as quietly as she could, asked-]

[Well, people around the district have gotten used to Genesis' presence-- so much so that some of those girls in Santa suits seem to be coming up to him and trying to get him into some small talk. But Genesis is used to having adoring fans around him-- although it's been years since he's made the rounds to Red Leather and the book club. He dismisses them not too long after a little chit-chat, especially as he notices someone going through his rounds--

This must be someone new. He'll approach him then. It's his duty as Zone Leader, after all.]

[Figures that Gintoki's first Watch patrol would take place at the end of one of his more uneventful days. The kind where you feel more inclined to stretch out on the couch at home and watch re-runs of bad soaps. As tempting as the idea is however, he can't give Roy a bad impression of himself. Someone needs to uphold the Gintama name, right?

Well anyway, here's Gintoki strolling down the street, not quite paying much attention to his surroundings. How long would it be before he bumped into Katsura?]

[It was quiet for awhile, until a guy started threatening to jump around 4:30. By the time Claire was on his way to finishing out his shift without any problems, there was one; a big one, really.

But it'd been half an hour since the guy had gone out on the ledge and started yelling that he was going to do it. Claire was leaning against the wall, looking up at him for now.]

If you're goin' to do it, do it already! I have more places to patrol, here!
