[That didn't mean that the shirt looked out of place on Zack! The man was rather easy to spot in the crowd - something D was grateful for. He was pleased to see Zack again and even happier to be out of the apartment. Shaun was displeased with him and here it was much easier to avoid a fight!

D hurried over to greet the man, a cheerful smile on his face.]

Good evening, Zack!

HEY!

[Zack lacked volume control, so when people turned and stared at the guy boisterously yelling through the mall, well, he didn’t even notice. Or, rather, he didn’t care; he was happy at the sight of a familiar face, one that he shouldn’t have been able to see except for BREW’s “kindness”. Today, man. Today was a good day.

[And, much like his vocal projection, Zack didn’t understand, nor fear, personal space. He went in for a hug, though if it was granted was solely up to D.]

It’s good to see you, man!

[The hug caught D off guard, but he granted it. He was used to having animals in his personal space, and Zack was practically a puppy. D released him after a moment and took a small step back to look up at him.]

I hope you've been well.

["Practically" indeed, until he got into a fight, then it turned all business. And such dark thoughts were far away; he was here to shop, to let loose, to have fun, and meant to make it so. Hands ran through his hair, taming the wild spikes as best as they could ever be tamed, and he tried to not to remember what brought him here, what he left behind.]

Better now that I'm back here. [Nothing ruined someone's day like dying, after all.] What about you? Other than that bruise, I mean.
