Well, Chika was certainly surprised about Masaru calling her like that, especially since they haven't really done all that much since she had gotten here. Of course, part of her was still reminded almost every time she saw him about him leaving like he did, which... wasn't good. It certainly didn't help her situation with talking to her anyway.

But hey, she couldn't stay mad at him. It's not like he was from the time when he actually did leave, after all. It wasn't fair to be mad and mean to him about it.

Also, he was paying for ice cream. So there she was, going to meet up with him...

... and staring at his black eye and swollen bloody lip. She sighed. "Who did you start punching at this time?"

Masaru laughed, rubbing the back of his head and wincing when said laughter made his lip hurt. he poked it with his tongue before shrugging. Really... this wasn't any different then back before Agumon, when he would get into brawls almost everyday.

"She's deserved it."

Chika sighed. "... Well, at least I know it must've been for a good reason. You wouldn't attack a girl randomly if she wasn't really doing something to deserve it."

At least, he better not have. Otherwise, well, she'd definitely not be happy with that at all.

"Hey she did this to me, she could fight back just as good!" If Masaru was worried about fighting a girl it wasn't showing: in the end it was all about fists to him. And Vriska had some pretty nice fists... and kicks... and horns that tore his knuckles up pretty badly.

It had been great.

"Come on, let's go. I'm getting hungry."
