There was one particular "new" Guest who had tactfully avoided the use of the front doors to Shibusen, since they hadn't needed to take the introduction tours a second time. After plying Tsubaki for new intel after initially arriving in the Kishin Chamber, a certain shinobi of Kai had made his own exit and soon taken to the rooftops, out of view of the other Guests. They're always such a hassle.

Good thing he had, too. He'd almost missed the next roof in his travels when he had spotted somebody who definitely didn't used to be here before as he was scanning about vigilantly. It was definitely too good of an opportunity to resist, so he doubled back and made a far more stealthy approach.

Sasuke didn't speak a word as he slowly sidled into the kunoichi's field of hearing, carefully melding with the background noise until he was sure he was barely detectable.

At which point he suddenly called out loudly from behind her, "Kasuga~!"

Kasuga had been so caught up in watching the group leave the school that she neither heard nor saw the man she deemed her rival join her on the root top. Though her back was turned away from him, her eyes went wide and she nearly lost her footing from the mere shock of that voice calling her name. There was no need to turn around to know who it belonged to; no other man could send her blood boiling beneath it's surface from just a single word.

Taking a deep breath, Kasuga closed her eyes and sought to find the patience she would surely need to deal with this man. "Sarutobo Sasuke." Her voice was barely over a whisper the strongest venom could be detected in the way his name left her lips.

Still crouched low to the edge of the rooftop, Kasuga glanced half behind her so that she could get a half-decent look at him. "You have returned."

Oh noes, it's Sarutobo!

Oho, so she knew that he'd been in Death City before? Then again, Sasuke supposed that made sense enough. Despite the acidity to the way Kasuga spoke his name, he grinned easily. A little nostalgia made his sudden return to this world just that much more bearable, though he was perhaps a touch surprised at just how vehement she was.

Normally she just tossed a few kunai at him and acted a little cold frozen. Of course, that didn't mean he was going to be any easier on her at all. Privately, he enjoyed these little meetings more than he would ever let on.

"Haa? You were waiting for me?" Sasuke asked with a light, amused note to his voice before drawling, "I'm touched that you missed me~."

"I was--" Kasuga had been trying so hard to keep her temper in check, really she was. Yet, Sasuke always knew just how to get her riled up and in many ways she was aware of just what he was trying to do, yet he always knew just the way to push her buttons.

Had she vowed to use her weapons for none other than her watch duties, kunai would have been flying at him that very second. Instead, she her hands into fists and rose quickly and turned on the ball of her foot to glare at the other ninja.

"I was doing no such thing!" She had meant to tell him off, or even truthfully admitting that she had been waiting for Kenshin, yet the cocky sound in his voice had her next comment take a different direction altogether. "Why should I wait for someone that had left the city? I had looked for you, yet not even Sanada Yukimura knew of your whereabouts!" As always with Sasuke, her tone was harsh.
