[She watched him and followed as Genesis walked, still feeling far too tense and on edge after the events of that night. She needed to rip something apart and the apparent lack of things to rip apart was almost making her fidget, and for a moment, her focus shifted to Genesis instead of her own bubbling insanity, needing a distraction.]

It's... quiet.

[And it represented exactly what she hated the most in her entire existence: peace. She was used to turning scenarios as idyllic as this into the most destroyed war zones, back in her world, and the inability to do the same in Death City was slowly driving her mad... even more so after the fiasco of that fight with the idiot boy Meister and his Weapon girlfriend, back in Death City.]

[Genesis could seem to sense it, the discomfort in the way Carmine spoke, moved.]

That's exactly why I left home to become a SOLDIER. You're not used to countrysides, aren't you?

[Somewhere ahead of them was a small house which had a sign that said "Inn".]

[War knows that Genesis may notice her discomfort, but she doesn't care; if anything, it should work to her advantage, because they'd just skip to the ass-kicking so War could blow off some god damned steam, instead of playing around like they were doing right now.]

No. I don't like quiet or calm places.

[She looked up at the inn and wondered if she could get away with setting fire to it after they were done with their mission.]

Besides, I've never remained in one place long enough to become used to it.

I see.

[There was still much for Genesis to learn about Carmine. Especially after the events of that night. While he was certain that she had experience and charm, he was still in the dark to why her madness manifested in that way: manipulative, destructive and perhaps more violent that he could ever be.]

We ought to settle in and prepare for nightfall. That'll be when we search for our "werewolf."
