"Oh, no. Nothing at all." Really, it had more decoration than she'd expected, but still not enough.

But enough about that. There were more important things for them to talk about right now, instead of the sad state of Karkat's hive.

Hey, it's a bachelor pad for a fearsome troll leader. He doesn't need any classy ladies giving it any kind of feminine touch.

"Well, okay, fine. Whatever. So did you bring any movies? I rented some earlier, so unless you brought your own, I hope you're ready to watch all the goddamn romance you can stand. It's going to be like fucking flushed quadrant end times in here."

He disappears into the kitchen to get drinks.

"The fucking rompocalypse! Wait, no, that sounds dumb."

Kanaya laughs. "I think it sounds fun." She hadn't brought anything herself, so it would have been whatever Karkat wanted anyway. She takes a seat on his couch, waiting for him to get back.

Oh I thought she was bringing Twilight? :V

Karkat returns with drinks and offers her one, then joins her on the couch.

"Hell yeah it's going to be fun. Even if these human movies are all pretty watered down and about as inoffensive as it gets."

Uh... Karkat thought it was a romcom? Damn, I didn't even say she'd brought a bag.

She takes it, smiling.

"Is that so?" she asks, looking over what he has, from what little she can see. "How many have you seen?"
