The day had definitely been an interesting one. He'd started off with the training in the morning, as per usual, but after heading off from that to meet with Wolfram, he'd come across those large feral cats. He'd been able to defeat them with a lot of Cloud's help, but it hadn't been without injury to himself. Yuuri had tried his best, but he hadn't been fast enough to avoid the quick swipes of the large cat ( ... )

He paused outside the door, taking stock. Should he explain? Could he explain? He wasn't even sure he understood all of it himself - being here, of course, and having died here apparently, but everything that had happened in Shin Makoku too.

He was even still wearing the Dai Shimaron uniform. He had nothing else yet, so he had no choice but to leave it alone.

But this was Yuuri. He would always understand.

He raised his hand again and knocked on the door.

Limping over to the kitchen, Yuuri paused as he heard the knock on the door. Strange, he wasn't expecting anyone, and he doubted that Sara would be knocking on the door. Unless, of course, the other king had his hands full and needed help? That was possible, and knowing Sara as he did, the other king never would have asked for help.

He shook his head at the thought before slowly heading over to answer it. If it was Sara, then he'd simply have to tell the other king off for babying him when it wasn't needed.

"You know, you don't always have to--" Yuuri began while opening the door, but the words instantly froze in this throat as he saw that it wasn't Sara on the other side. His heart beat loudly against his chest as he slowly peered up with wide eyes. He knew that uniform well, but it was just who was wearing it that had caught his attention ( ... )

He knew that look well, and even as it hurt it also warmed him so that he could smile.
