He's well enough to be up and about unattended, thank you very much. Time and past for that. Still, he's not going all that far from his room, leaving the window open to air it out as he steps out down the hall for a moment. It's the third floor. What could happen, really?

Cheshire hops into the window, with only a little scrambling with his back paws. He was getting better at this whole jumping thing. He wanders about the apartment for a few seconds before deciding to hop up onto the refrigerator. He settled down on his new perch, curling up so that his tail covered his nose and his grin as he settled in. He closed his eyes, but he was awake still with his ears perked for sound.

Once he had left his bedroom, no matter what circuit of the apartment he made, it was nearly inevitable to end up at the fridge. He required more food in his convalescence, after all, which was entirely reasonable. The uncanny sense of being watched as he approached the kitchen... perhaps, was less reasonable.

Cheshire opened one big yellow eye as the apartment's owner approached, sill hiding his grin. He really would rather just allowing whoever this man was to find him rather than need to announce his presence. Either way, the discovery of a large grey feline would probably cause quite a bit of confusion.

While a land breeze paled in comparison to the sea breezes he was used to, it was a nice change. Motochika had left all his windows open as widely as he could get them (after spending a few moments puzzling over it).

He himself was seated in front of the television that had been taken apart to expose the circuitry inside. He was going to figure out how these things worked no matter how long it took! It would have been a good advantage for him to learn some things in the future as it would give him an edge in his own war when he returned.

A few moments later Cheshire discovered his next target. He made his way up and inside. He was perfectly capable of slinking in shadows and hiding himself, but he saw no need for such action. Instead he walked right in, as if he owned the place, and settled onto a couch. It was all up to Motochika if he noticed Cheshire or not.

He poked at it for a few more moments before letting out a noise of frustration. He had barely made any progress in figuring out how things worked in.

Motochika stood up, stretching a little, he had been sitting down for quite a while now. He was about to walk into the kitchen for some refreshments when he spied Cheshire. "...When'd you get here?" He uttered to himself.

"When I walked through the window." he responded quite casually.

Because of his new job, England was becoming quite the night owl. This meant he usually rested in the daytime. He was not able to sleep a lot, just catch some naps here and there. He had a lot on his mind, however, so sleep did not come easily, nor was it peaceful.

That morning, he managed to pass out on the couch while leafing through a magazine he'd picked up the day before. The window was left open, which was not that unreasonable; England was not used to such dry, hot weather.

The warmest spot in a room was often the one that produced its own heat. It was also often the best place to nap. In this case, it also put him in a prime position to baffle whoever it was that happened to have fallen asleep with his window open.

He gently jumped onto the couch and then very carefully climbed onto England's stomach so as to not wake him up. He curled up on his chest so that as soon as England woke up, the first thing he would see was Cheshire's face. Until then, Cheshire joined him in a bit of a nap.

HNNG SO CUTE... notexcalibur January 25 2011, 14:06:59 UTC
For a while, England did not seem to notice anything. The warmth on his stomach felt... Familiar, somehow. At least in his dreams. It wasn't long before he was reaching up and petting whatever he thought was lying there. It made him happy in his half-asleep state.

Well, he hadn't entirely been expecting that. Perhaps this one had some sort of cat of his own where ever he was from. Cheshire pushed his head into the pet. He simultaneously stretched his front paw across England's chest with his claws out. He was careful to not scratch England, though he might feel the claws sink into his shirt briefly.

It's mid day when Lust returns to her room, leaving the door slightly open for no reason other than kitty will not be climbing 8 floors into a window and walking into her bedroom to remove her coat. It wasn't as if someone was suddenly going to rush in and attack anyway...

Attack, no, but find a nice sunny spot on the table, yes. When Lust comes back out, she'll discover that Cheshire is looking rather smug as he lays on her table as if he had been there since before she came home.

Well. This is normal. Or it would be if Lust had ever owned a cat. Shameless creatures.

But seriously? Lust doesn't even know why she's still surprised when it comes to this animal anymore. She's just going to watch him curiously for a few seconds before glancing over to the open door and making a mental note to shut the door in the future.

Cheshire continued grinning at her as if he had caught a canary. He could practically see the thoughts cross her mind. Too bad that she probably didn't realize that he could open doors on his own. It was a blessing of not following anyone's laws, even physics'.

It was such a nice and relaxing day after the one before. There were many things that he needed to get done, but those tasks could wait until after his morning tea time. That's why Sohki is sitting out on the balcony of his apartment while enjoying a cup of tea.

Cheshire hopped across from a neighbouring balcony, balancing on the railing. He walked across the rail with apparent ease, coming to a sitting position in front of the stranger enjoying his tea.

The scent of another draws Sohki's attention from his tea. Peering in the direction of the scent, his eyes remained constantly closed as he smiled. What he caught on the air was obviously feline in nature, but it wasn't the scent of D's cat.

"It appears as though I've got a visitor," Sohki murmured cheerfully before slipping the teacup back down onto the saucer. Regarding the feeling contently with closed eyes, the kirin asked, "May I ask to what do I owe this pleasure?"

Cheshire's smile expands in response to Sohki's smile. "Boredom," he responded with a smile.
