[ Death City is still terribly hot and humid like hell during night time, but there's still a nice black jacket perched on Iceland. It's practically a sin to go to a club dressing like a hobo or in his every day clothes, after all. It's hard to look nice with the lack of Friday clothes (that's what he called his clothes for this occasion, because he usually did these kind of things on Friday nights), but not impossible. He managed to come up with something and certainly looked nicer than usual.

He doesn't usually reveal this side of him to anyone, but Nura was his partner, and he's trying to be honest to her. Which means showing the side of him that not many people had the privilege to know. Plus, with the recent happenings, she's not the only one that needs some form of escapism. ]

I bet it is.

[ He stole a glance at her. Did you know that he actually was going to compliment her ever since their departure from Death City Heights? But he's afraid that she might take his compliment the wrong way. ]

sorry for lateness! hisonlytruth November 7 2010, 03:30:28 UTC
[Shirley's chosen to forego the coat as well. Instead, she wore a light green dress, and her hair was pulled back. Her shoes, higher heels than she usually preferred, made tapping noises on the sidewalk as she walks with the other two.

Although she couldn't help but feel a little suspicious of a place she had never been in this unfamiliar city, she looked forward to it. Being with a familiar person made things better, and even though she didn't know Iceland, Nura was always fun to be around. A distraction from everything that had happened lately was nothing if not welcomed, at any rate.]

Yeah, it definitely will be! [She agreed, and flashed a smile.]

[Nura looks at the building, curious while eager. Dances in the 31st century at first had been in secret, where the adults could not find them and the youth could bring in the free rebellious culture of the 21st century. After the youth revolution, things became more open, and the dances didn't need to be so secret. But still, she has to wonder...]

I think there's a line though. [Most clubs are like that.] I wonder if we have to pay to get in...

[ Couldn't say that he knew Shirley either aside from her name from the introduction earlier, but he's been meeting a whole lot of strangers ever since his arrival in Death City, so it doesn't matter. Besides, she's Nura's friend, so she doesn't really count as a stranger. And he's not averse to the thought of being friends with her. She seems like a nice girl so far.

He glanced at her when she spoke, before following Nura's gaze to the building. ]

No, I don't think so. [ He is surprisingly experienced with clubs. ] We're probably just need to flash our I.Ds.
