Today was rather unremarkable. If she hadn't been in the clinic these past few days, Namine would think that the mission day never happened and neither did the frog attack. There were so many injured and laid in the same room she was in, each one with varying injuries that being in an atmosphere so quiet was as startling as the activity that preceded it.

Sighing, she closed the medicine cabinet, making the last note on the stocks clipboard and set it aside. It was quiet now; perhaps she was allowed to go home now?

Having her name called by Winry was definitely unexpected, though if a little surprising. Did she need anything? "Yes, I'm here," she called back, turning away from her work so she could approach the door. "Is there something you needed?"

Winry opened the door fully so she could see the other blonde and shook her head, glad she managed to catch her before she left.

"The people for the next shift have come in, so I was just thinking since we're both done, maybe we could do something together? I feel a bit bad that I've never really sat done before to chat with you, I think we're a little overdue. What do you say? There's a nice diner not to far from here if you are hungry."

"I... I like the diner," she said softly, having listened to her employer with no little surprise and stirrings of... anticipation, definitely.

It wasn't often that people talked to her, though this world seemed like an exception from the others. Here, people wanted to talk to her and wanted her company, no matter insignificant her input or her use was. It was a change that she couldn't get used to, but she wanted it.

James told her to make use of her time here. She could try that.

"Are you hungry?"

Winry nodded "A bit! I haven't eaten since lunch so I'm getting there. My treat."

Going out to eat wasn't an option she really had much back home. Not that that was necessarily a bad thing, but not having to cook was nice, and being able to sit down somewhere with someone to chat was even nicer.
