France made sure that his apartment was nice and pretty for Spain's arrival. Luckily the frogs didn't get to anything too badly, so that was a plus. He said he'd give advice, but the truth was, Romano was always going to be a brat. How dare he compare France's company to England's cooking. Rude.

Once he heard the melodic knocking, he swung the door open cheerfully. "Bonsoir!" It was nice to see another of them in person as opposed to a video screen. Of course, he'd always had a special place for Spain! "Come in, mon ami!"

He had to poke his head out of the door to make sure Romano wasn't stalking them.

Spain entered the apartment, completely unaware of France looking for Romano. (Or even of the potential of Romano stalking him.) This was the first he had seen of France in this new place so anything Spain was thinking about upon entering flew out his ear and out the window.

"Francisco!" Spain opened his arms up, a big smile spread across his face. Upon further inspection, one would be able to see an assortment of sparkles around him but those were really to be expected when two people such as Spain and France got together. "Mi amor!"

It was for the best that Spain didn't know what France was doing or why he was doing. Actually, that went for just about every country to ever come within close range of France. Once he was sure there was no skulking Italian lurking about at the moment, he slipped back inside and shut the door.

"Mon chéri!" he returned, equally accessorized with sparkles that could clearly only come from such passionate countries as themselves. He opened up his arms as well and there was a collision of great love. "You don't know how dreary it's been without you."

Once their love collided, there was no turning back. Waves crashed atop the mighty ocean, volcanoes erupted with passionate red lava and the future king of Pride Rock was lifted high above all of his future subjects. Clearly there had been no greater moment of shared love than the one that was just exchanged between two neighboring nations in a strange land.

However, once they separated, Spain looked to France with an expression of almost distressed concern. "Dreary?" he wondered out loud. It was difficult to believe with all of the nations he had already found, however, it was not hard to notice a certain lack of PASSION among all of them. "You don't have to worry about that anymore, corazón. Reino de España is here!"

Spain had pretty much all but completely forgotten the original intention of this visit.
